What the plugin does
AffiliateLauncher runs affiliate, consultant, and distributor programs. This plugin connects a WooCommerce store to that cloud service so an order from a partner link is credited to the right person. You manage the roster, enrollment, tracking links, commission plans, the sales and commission ledger, and PayPal mass-payment files in AffiliateLauncher. Commissions are calculated there, not inside WordPress.
- Tracking links in three formats:
?_f=site-id, short/al/r/site-idlinks, and#site-id. - Party and event credit with
?_e=event-id. - An optional storefront lookup so shoppers can pick their consultant.
- Compatibility with High-Performance Order Storage and the Cart and Checkout blocks.
- A first-party cookie,
al_fsession, that keeps the affiliate session for attribution.
One AffiliateLauncher company can connect Shopify and WooCommerce. WooCommerce
orders are stored as woo- plus the order number so they do not
collide with Shopify order numbers.
Install and connect
- WooCommerce must be active. Upload the plugin zip, or install it from the WordPress.org directory, then activate it.
- Open WooCommerce, then AffiliateLauncher.
- Paste the API base URL, company site ID, and WooCommerce integration key from AffiliateLauncher, then Settings, then WooCommerce.
- In those AffiliateLauncher settings, connect the store with a WooCommerce REST API key set to Read/Write so order webhooks can sync.
- Pretty
/al/r/...links need a non-Plain permalink structure. Query and hash links still work with Plain permalinks.
Nothing is sent to AffiliateLauncher until you enter an API base URL and integration key. The plugin page describes what is sent: lookup traffic when the cart float is on, and order data that AffiliateLauncher reads through the WooCommerce REST API connection you authorize. The agreements link on the plugin page is directsales.software/pub/agreements.
Paying affiliates
Commissions build up in the AffiliateLauncher ledger as orders sync. When you pay, mark the commissions paid and export a PayPal mass-payment file. The plugin never moves money.
Uninstall and older copies
Deleting the plugin removes its settings. Affiliate and event details saved
on past orders stay on those orders. Version 0.2.7 uses the plugin folder
affiliatelauncher. Older zips used a different folder name, so
WordPress may show more than one copy. Deactivate the old copy, activate
0.2.7 or later, confirm the three settings, then delete the old plugin.
Only one copy can be active.
